PERSONALLY SPEAKING
In 1964 I fell in love with a beautiful group of islands and a quaint little community in the heart of the Les Cheneaux Islands. Little did I know that, as a "summer island resident" since 1968, Les Cheneaux would become my "permanent residence" and provide me with a career opportunity to do what I like to do best..sell real estate and boats.

After graduating from college, I began teaching and obtained a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counceling. I left education and entered into the boat business where, for 19 years, I had varied experiences in sales, marketing and management in Michigan as well as the Chespeake Bay area. I obtained a US Coast Guard License for Hire, 50 ton (commonly called a Captains Licence). I have been licensed in real estate in the Les Cheneaux area since 1994.

I am a dedicated full time REALTOR and Boat Broker. I have created a niche market to offer customers expertise in buying and selling real estate property as well as buying and selling boats. The two, I have found, go hand in hand, especially in a waterfront vacation community. I have a wealth of knowledge of the islands, waterfront and channels and possess navigation and boat handling skills. I use these skills to not only demonstrate boats, but show customers our beautiful Les Cheneaux Island waterways. For those a little intimidated by navigation and boat handling, I will gladly share my knowledge to add that little extra confidence getting around.
